Gold Rush Week!

This past week ELCO’s Raiderthon club raised approximately $800 for the Four Diamonds Fund—a great start towards their goal and contribution to an incredibly worthy cause.

“On Friday, January 4 and Saturday, January 5 the Raiderthon club held their Gold Rush fundraising event for the Four Diamonds Fund. The club decorates the gym, sells t-shirts, makes games for kids to play, and collects donations throughout the game. The club's goal this year is to raise $20,000 for the Four Diamonds Fund. The Four Diamonds Fund is an organization that helps to cover the costs that come along with the treatment of pediatric cancer and also puts money towards research for the cure.” 

“It is very uplifting to see how much the community supports our club and the fight against pediatric cancer, it helps us to keep pushing to raise money for the kids to help them in their fight against cancer.”

The Raiderthon club has put in so much hard work to make these events happen, and it is definitely paying off! It is not over yet, though, so ELCO students: help support this immensely important cause and support the Four Diamonds Fund by picking up an order form and buying Raiderthon Spirit Wear available for purchase, and by attending the event on February 8-9.
